This morning while I was signing in at the attendance book, a colleague said good morning and all. He (let's call him 'A) was with a new staff (named B).
It went something like this:
A: Morning kak!
Me: Morning..
A: Lama tak nampak, with me on leave, then you being on leave..
Me: Yeah lah. Hehe.. I was at home saja, tak pergi mana-mana pun
B: Nevermind la.. if ada anak-anak at home sure tak boring (probably trying to be friendly? :P)
Me: I takde anak-anak
B: Oh.. nevermind, husband ada got company at home right
Me: (finally looking at her face) I'm not married
B: Oh.. (LOLs.. she probably thought she stuffed her foot into her mouth eh muahahah!) Well, I always thought if there are children around it wouldn't be so boring. Would be much happier
Me: Really? I don't feel that way. Why must wait to have husband and kids then only be happy or not feel bored?
Whahahahaha..
Can't recall what else happened, but whatever lah kan.
* * *
I don't understand some people.
Why on earth would they imagine I would be happier if I'm married or if I have kids by now? Does it mean I'm not happy as I am? I would only be happy if 'I have certain things' or 'I do this and that' ? What nonsense!
Maybe they do have only good intentions.
But please, I don't need other people to judge my life, much less my happiness, based on their standards.
Being happy, or living a wonderful life does not necessarily mean one needs to fulfill specific conditions. For some people maybe having family and kids makes them happy, others are simply content being surrounded by love. For some others, perhaps it's having a good home and a good job. And for some others, it could be delicious food on the dinner table night after night. :)
It depends on individuals. Things that make you happy doesn't necessarily be as important to me.
* * *
Only 20-odd days only left in year 2008.
One friend asked himself: 'What have I achieved this year?'
Good question that one :)

I feel like going away for a while. Just a couple days will do, I think.
Hmm I've been checking out flight schedules / fares to go to Singapore, and Langkawi.
And also considered going to Bukit Tinggi and Cameron Highlands - I've never been to those places, ever! Malu je, padahal bukan lah jauh sangat.
* * *
BTW, watched Amazing Race Asia just now! So kesian Ida & Tania, they made a blunder with the flights from Oman to Phuket, kan? Probably luck wasn't on their side this time around.
But I'm soooo glad it's the Hong Kong boys who won and not Geoff & Tisha ahaks. I mean.. G & T were way too competitive (well, at least I think the guy is) up to the point they became obnoxious - with the 'yield' and 'u-turn' and attitude and everything else.
Well, let's just say, sometimes it's karma, babes.
* * *
Now, what about that little get-away of mine..
* * *
Enjoy your weekends darlings :)

I had a weird dream the other night.. Or should I say several dreams?
Well I can't really recall most of it, only bits and pieces..
1. I was inside a building, more like a house or a small shoplot. The certain someone's car is parked outside. But from inside the building I can hear the car's radio blasting out loud. I went outside to turn down the radio, then decided to switch it off completely. I know the certain someone is no-where nearby the car 'cause I was on the phone with him the whole time I walked from inside the building to his car.
2. I was on a weird escalator / travelator, coz at one point it went up on a 90-degree angle - it's impossible to remain standing right? (well, unless the feet is super-glued to the escalator). But someone I managed to get on it and arrived at the destination: a huge swimming pool area, with separate pools for kids, adults, and even a pool with jacuzzi-like facilities. This is where I met Sheils and she told me how much she loved this place.
3. I'm with Sheils again, she's taking me to a library or a bookstore. Tonnes of books! Both of us (and lots of other people) were reading. Suddenly it's closing time for the place (still daylight though), so I was about to return my book to its shelf. But Sheils said: "Nah.. you don't have to. You can just leave the book here on this table, even open to that page you're reading. We're coming here again tomorrow, and the book will still be here."
We went outside to walk back home, and this place is somewhere in Subang area, 'cause I told Sheils "In this area, I only know Carrefour and Subang Parade".
* * *
Eheh.. Weird, I tell y'all.
I don't know what any of those dreams mean. But I do know I woke up a bit tired. Definitely NOT a night of restful slumber for me.
* * *
Happy working people. Can you believe it's already Thursday? :)

I recently talked to a dear friend, and my blabber mouth went ahead and asked him about the ex, when I swear I once promised myself I would do no such thing.
*sigh*
I'm quite sure I'm better off not knowing..
* * *
In my circle of girlfriends.. things are certainly happening, and certainly life does go on..
Zuec is moving up north - new job, new life together with hubby.
Darls decided to call off the engagement & wedding (I'm totally supporting you babes, I love you muahh!)
Zam is pleasantly pregnant (Happyyyy sangat dapat tau the gender of the baby!)
Sheils is saying goodbye..
All in all.. I love all you Girls (even if I didn't mention your names, I still love you all :D )

You, who sent me a Raya SMS
I don't know if you're reading this.
But if you are, just know that I did receive your SMS during Aidil Fitri. And also the Raya wishes you've sent through another friend.
Thank you for both.
I'm sorry but I still don't have it in me to write anything back to you.
Maybe one day I will.

Salam Eidul Fitri
Salam.. and happy eid mubarak!
It's 9 Syawal today and it's my first day back at work. LOLs.. Oh boy oh boy was it difficult to get out of bed this morning! ;)
Raya celebration was a bit subdued.. but nonetheless the food were all yummylicious. Seems like I couldn't stop eating hahahaha.. I think gained the weight I've lost during fasting month, plus a few additional kilos! Sheesh..
OK.. the plan is to start qadha' puasa starting from next week Monday. Hehe.. But let's see how things go OK :)
I've got 3 open house invitations this Sunday :D Only hope I can find my way around ya.. hehehehe..
And talking about open houses, this year we won't be having one. Alasan? Budget lari!
LOLs..

SMPT Buka Puasa Gath 2008
Hello beautiful people :)
Just want to post some pics from the SMPT buka puasa gathering last week (Wednesday 17th Sept). This is the second time we had it at Nelayan Titiwangsa (agaknya everyone wants to go back to school ;) ). Turnout is quite good, with some new faces who haven't managed to join any gathering we've had for the past few years (i.e: Ogy, Kak Norly, Linda).. although some familiar faces were missing.. Takpe, next year datang, ok darlings :D
All in all, there were a lot of talking, and I mean A LOT! And lots of laughter, and photo snapping, and I still cannot believe the number of glasses of drinks (fruit juice, bottled water, milo ais, teh tarik) we had on our table! Hahhahaha talk about being thirsty!
Food was not too bad, but the queue getting to the food was TERRIBLE! And the lack of parking spaces is also a complaint. Hmm maybe I should write in to Nelayan Titiwangsa and highlight these issues. Ke dah ramai yang highlight but nothing can be done? Eheh..
* * *
OK OK, here are the pics :) Enjoy!
(as usual, click for larger version of the pics)
Ni dah kenyang makan. Actually, Liza Along & me are in the midst of counting everyone's payment, macam short je. Tapi apa-apapun sempat gak posing tu..!
Khusyuk betul dengar Cikgu bercerita.. hehe.. concentrate babe, nanti kena marah!
Joy punya turn lak nak bercerita.. hiihih..
Our final photo session before dispersing. We were among the last few tables to make a move. Agaknya budak2 Nelayan tu boring je nak kena tunggu kitorang balik baru boleh kemas meja! Eheh
* * *
Can you believe that Raya is only a week away? Cepat betul!
Hugs!

Mid-Ramadhan
Can you believe it's 15th Ramadhan today?
Time really flies..
I can remember when I was in my primary schooldays, when the fasting month started it seemed to take way too long to reach Aidil Fitri!
* * *
Today at the workplace there's going to be a majlis berbuka organised by the company. But I'm not sure I'm going to attend.. biasalah, would rather break fast at home with my parents hehe..
But, with the unpredictable weather, who knows I might just get stuck at the office and break my fast here anyway.
* * *
This Wednesday the schoolgirls have arranged a buka puasa gathering at Titiwangsa (hehe, nostalgic place eh Titiwangsa..!). But it clashes with buka puasa dinner arranged by the Division.
Aiseh.
See lah how. Have to miss one of them.
But which one?
Hmm...
* * *
This Friday will be having buka puasa at Putrajaya with The Girls, we're having it at Sheils' house this year.
But it remains to be seen if
(a) I'm buying any food... mana ada pasar ramadhan kat area ofis nih.., and
(b) I'm sleeping over at Sheils' place. So far rasa cam OK to sleepover..
* * *
OK lah.. time to go to work.. uhuhuh..

Salam Ramadhan
Salam Ramadhan everyone :)
It's the 4th day of fasting, but only my 1st day at work after a super long weekend.
Currently can't stop yawning *sigh* must be due to the low sugar level..
I haven't recovered fully from the cough / runny+blocked nose / slight fever, and coupled with the muscle cramps from Sunday's cleaning up the grandparents' kubur.. my body feels like a five-year-old trying to fast for the first time - letih giler!! Sabar je lah.
Selamat berpuasa, selamat beribadah dan selamat berbuka puasa! Hehehhhe..

Final dinner before Ramadhan
Hmm.. bunyik cam apa je title tu kan?
LOLs..!
Anyway, I'm meeting up with some of The Girls tonight for our final dinner together before Ramadhan. Not sure if we're doing it at the same place, but it should be somewhere within that area lah.
I've kinda lost track, but yesterday that certain someone asked, "Esok dinner dgn diorang? Oh ni kira monthly dinner ek?" and it got me thinking, yeah.. this IS kind of our monthly outing.
Somehow tonight feels a little different, mind you only a little. Zuec will be attending it as a married woman, and Darls pulak as an almost-fiance to someone.
And in case I don't have a chance to write before Ramadhan starts, I'm taking this chance to wish Muslim readers & friends.. Salam Ramadhan Mubarak and Selamat Menjalankan Ibadah Puasa, semoga sentiasa di-Rahmati Allah. Aminn..
Hugs & kisses!

Hello you beautiful people..
I've been having sore throat since the early hours of Friday morning. But it was only a sore throat, nothing else. However, knowing my body well, I knew a fever was coming my way. I did go to the clinic at work and the doctor told me, "You have no fever, but your tonsil's a bit red and swollen."
Oh well.. bunyi macam nak demam je..
And... It didn't help that the certain someone was away for the weekend - outstation duty boohoo.. Maybe I could be down with demam rindu too. Kekkekeke..
Well, over the weekend I went from having only sore throat, to coughing, to runny nose.. to bit of a headache..
And today I went to the clinic at the office, and told the doctor all the above. In turn the doc tells me, "Not only that, you've got a slight fever too.".
Aiyak..
A couple of colleagues called earlier to get some info from me, and both couldn't recognise my voice. One of them even told me, "Eh you're this sick, how come you're still at work? Go home lah."
Hhahaha.. I wish!
* * *
Ok lah.
Time for some TLC.
Hihihhihi..

Selamat Pengantin Baru Zuec & hubby
Just got back from Zuec's wedding reception in PD.
I'm so happy for the lovely couple of the day, but also a bit tired from the driving and not getting enough sleep last night (I think it's due to sleeping on an unfamiliar bed).
I can't write much, well not yet anyway. Ni tengah pening kepala sebab tahan mata dari tidur.. So I'm just gonna put up some pics ya (as usual, click on the pictures for the larger version.. err, hopefully the larger version WILL come out la kan..). Will update this post later when I can form some coherent thoughts heheh..

August already?
August eh?
Time really, really flies kan? :)
Last night Sheils texted me, saying that Zuec's wedding is this week! It feels like it's been only weeks since Darls, Sheils & myself went to Zuec's engagement kenduri. When the truth is that.. it has been months, really.
And, last week a darling friend sent news that she too will be tying the knot pretty soon. An engagement in a few month's time, followed by a wedding shortly after. Nice.. :)
Suddenly I have people left and right getting married. Wonder if it will 'tempias' on to me.. LOLs!
So let's see what's in store for me for the next few months... a wedding, Ramadhan, Eid Mubarak, celebrating hari raya in Singapore (insyaAllah! Perhaps during the first or second weekend of Syawal), one of Ya's best friends' wedding, an engagement... Oh ya.. Maybe need to check out some travel packages. Mak nak gi China Muslim tour :D would be nice to go on a holiday kan..
Wow.. now that should keep me busy all the way to January! Hehehe..

This week, I have a follow-up with the specialist regarding the small surgery I had recently. InsyaAllah all will be well.
Saturday 2nd August, I'm having a small reunion with some girls from school. Venue? Somewhere in Mid-Valley. Oh, I didn't organize it - a couple girls from the Science class are the responsible ones.. I guess I'm there to meet up some long-lost friends. Oh, the food's not too bad either ;)
Next week 8th August will be Zuec's akad nikah ceremony. MasyaAllah.. how time really flies!! I can't believe it's less than 2 weeks before Zuec becomes a wife..
So after work on 8th August I'll be fetching Sheils & Darls and off we will go to PD for the solemnization. Will be sleeping over in PD for one night, since it might be a bit tiring to go back and forth from KL to PD on those two days.

One brief update
It's been quite a while eh?
:)
Last week I went under the blade.
Hehe.. so the drama!
Actually, I had a small surgery last week - enough said the doctor gave me rest from Wednesday till the weekend..
I'm OK now, alhamdulillah. Very much on the road to recovery :))
* * *
Very busy. Hopefully I'll be writing soon. Much to tell!
Hugs!

Is it just me, or did I actually see fewer cars on the road this morning..? Has the sudden fuel price hike resulted in many Malaysians leaving their vehicles at home and actually using the public transport?
* * *
The petrol price hike (it's now RM2.70/litre at the pumps) was expected, but I think it caught everyone by surprise when the effect took place almost immediately. I think almost everyone was stuck in the really bad traffic crawl last night.
For me, what should've been a 30-minutes journey was stretched to about 1 1/2 hours! *sigh* Imagine the (cheaper) fuel I've consumed all those time I was not moving in the traffic jam. So much for saving up lah kan..
This morning, Abah said he thinks the price increase is reasonable. He also said "well maybe some people just have to change their lifestyle". Terus aku rasa panas je telinga kekekeke.. I asked him "what do you mean by changing lifestyle?". He said "I mean change the way you press your minyak pedal, don't go out so much with the car, if nak keluar gi kerja or KLCC go take LRT la.."
Pergh, tambah hangat!
I replied: "Well, if roads tak jam sure minyak boleh save lah kan. But not with the kind of traffic kat KL now ni, peak hours sure stuck dalam jem. And do you know how crammed the LRT is?"
Aiyak I know I sounded rude.. but.. hmmmmmmm..
Kang aku jadik anak derhaka lak kalau cakap banyak2 lagi. Immediately decided to leave for work, terus cakap "OK bye Bah!"
Hehehhe...
* * *
Maybe it's just wishful thinking on my part; but was there really a significant reduction in traffic this morning?
And for many Malaysians resorting to public transport.. well maybe not yet, at least not for me. I'm still going to be driving my car to work and back home, until.. erm, until only time will tell :))

*ahem*
Two posts today? Hmm..
Anyway, I forgot to update about last weekend.
I was supposed to travel up north with Sheils, to attend Hawa's wedding. We were all packed up, with Sheils sleeping over on Thursday night. But in the end, tak jadi pergi. The road trip we planned became a trip sending Sheils back to her home. ("Why? What happened?" you say? Well, it's her story to tell, so let's leave it to her, ya..)
I guess takde rezeki nak gi.
Sorry yer Hawa, from both Sheils and me. InsyaAllah one day soon we'll meet up and be properly introduced to your husband k.
Selamat Pengantin Baru to Hawa and hubby :))

Got cut off from the world!
OK.. this is just me being dramatic..
There was no Streamyx connection what-so-ever at home yesterday, and I feel like I've been cut off from the world!!
Hmm, better resolve this tonight lah..
On the other hand, since I couldn't surf the internet yesterday (read: I couldn't do all the usual stuff on Facebook *sigh*) , I had a marathon of Prison Break season 1. Yes yes, call me outdated, but hey, I've gotta start with season 1 before watching season 2, right.. Hehehe..
Ada 1 DVD je lagi to finish off. Hehehe.
So I guess if there still no Streamyx tonight, I'll be having another round of Prison Break marathon lah..
* * *
Still haven't finalised the hotel booking.. erks, Sheils hunny we better do this soon ya.. About a couple weeks left je nih. Hehehe..
Mas darlin, you sure you don't want to come along with us? Jom laa..
* * *
Ms ZAB, our phone conversation got cut off too soon yesterday. I got the venue and the date, but the time? I'm assuming it's going to be around noon la kan? For lunch? Is it formal? (You know.. seated guests, all wait for VIPs before can start makan?) Err.. and and.. are you going to be super-busy or will you have time to makan with me?
Erkkk! Baru teringat. This weekend is OUR kenduri lah. Might have to be at home and prepare the necessary. OK Ms ZAB, nanti aku call kau k.. See how things are at home. Love you! *hugs*

Goodbye April, Hello May
Well, I know this post comes a day (or two) early, but considering I'm on leave tomorrow I know I'm gonna be super-lazy to write anything comprehensible hehehehe... So here's one post today :D
Can you believe how fast time flies? It's going to be the month of May very soon! And then June.. MID YEAR! Oh wow..
Some highlights :)
1) Had a meet-up and sleepover with The Girls at Sheils' place in Putrajaya on Friday evening. It was a blast! But of course yours truly here didn't bring a camera hehehe, so I guess no pics from me. Sorry :)
However, on Saturday afternoon I was down with a major headache, I had to sleep for a couple of hours before feeling OK enough to make my way back to KL.
2) Have confirmed the date for kenduri doa selamat, and more-or-less finalised on the menu (did I mention that my parents and Kai and MakTon are insyaAllah going for umrah in May?)
3) I've submitted my income tax returns forms, using the e-filing. Senang..! But...uhuhuh.. apparently the PCB tax deductions are NOT enough to cover my income tax for 2007. *sigh* I guess I'll have to go and meet the LHDN officer sometime in May. Hmm, but I'm quite sure I have some money with LHDN, excess from year 2006 and 2005. Must check with them on this.
4) Dah lama rasanya tak pergi pasar malam hiihihih.. Since I'm on leave tomorrow I guess I'll go to the one nearby my house.
5) I'm crazy about Facebook's My City and MyMiniCity application hahaha.. If you're on Facebook please visit my profile and do add a citizen to my Minki. Else go here in Facebook hehe..
ANDDDDD, if you're free please click here to add a citizen to my Bluekoala mini city. Takyah download apa-apa application pun. Hihihihiih... Thank you muahhhhs!
Oops.. past 6pm already! I'm off now.
Kisses & hugsss!

I thought I saved a draft post somewhere..
...but apparently it's gone. Hmm.. bila pulak aku delete nih..?
Oh well... Let's start fresh then, shall we?
(1) I've yet to submit my income tax forms!!! Erks.. Maybe this year I should do e-filing since: (a) IRB has included e-filing pin numbers in all forms they've sent out to taxpayers; and (b) I remember in 2006 I submitted (for 2005 income-tax declaration) through e-filing somewhere in April / May, and received about RM900 income tax returns by September!!! And I've never asked for any rebates tau.. (OK, if this is NOT incentive enough, I don't know what is! :P)
(2) I miss the certain someone, eventhough we always, always meet up. Probably 'cause now that he's working again and is always away from KL.. They say "absence makes the heart grows fonder". Betul ek?
(3) I'm obsessed with cupcakes. Hehhehehe.. my girlfriends know about this since I think I've been mentioning cupcakes in a few conversations / emails I've sent out. Hehe.. But I'm not much into making (baking) them. More into looking at gorgeous designs. And of course eating them. Hhahaha.. Bahaya nih..
(4) Had a sleepover at Sheils' place last Friday. I think we both didn't realise how long it has been since we've last had our longgggg conversations - until we met up last week. Wow that was one good catching up session we had. We talked, and ate cupcakes, and talked and had dinner, and talked, and watched a movie (27 Dresses - really sweet and cute movie ok..), and talked, and slept. Woke up and went for breakfast (hmm, at 11.30am? Maybe should call it early lunch!) and talked a bit more before I left Putrajaya at around 1pm.
(5) From Sheils' place, went straight to Ampang for an old schoolmate's grand opening of her spa. A spa!! And summore she used to be a tomboy in school OK! Hehhehe..
To Ijed and Ijut Spa: Congrats and all the best!
(6) Oooh.. I found these few pics and I thought I'll share them with you :))
Picnic at Taman Rimba Komanwel with ex-SMPT girls.
Hehehe.. I think this was wayyy back in February! So teruk..
My excuse is that only NOW I've realised that I haven't posted these pics! Hihihihi..
(7) I'm having another meet-up + sleepover this coming Friday night, at Putrajaya. This time with The Girls yeayy! Although I'm not sure yet I'll be sleeping over at whose house - either Sheils' place or Za's. Errr... as it is with item (3) above, I've already ordered some cupcakes to be shared with the Girls. Hehehhe..
* * *
OK. I think that's all the updates I can think of.. (no doubt I'll remember something else after I've posted this entry hehehe..)
Until next time (hopefully it's not too far away in the future..), take care people.
Hugs!

Happy day, happy me :D
Hehe.. The birthday came and went.
Thank you all for your emails, sms, calls, Facebook & Friendster greetings, virtual cards, ACTUAL cards, YM / IM messages and macam-macam lagi.. hehe.. My apologies if I missed out thanking anyone personally.. Jangan ambik hati yer.
I didn't get my birthday dinner on the day *sigh*.
But I had an early dinner bash with some of The Girls - Sheils, Mel Ija, Darls, Zuec and Zuec's sis Lills on the eve of 12th March. Sorry, aku serious tak ingat nama tempat tu hahaha! It was at The Gardens, Mid-Valley (no, no it wasn't Italiannies hehe..). Our group was among the last few to leave. In fact I think it was after 11pm - the restaurant had to drop a VERY obvious hint that they were closing to get us out of that place. Hhaahhaha!
I got some birthday presents - one of them is definitely a big surprise. Or maybe more than one.. hmm..
Some of the pics for this birthday :))
I got the cupcakes from Azura. Sooo pretty and very yummylicious! Check her out here.
The ring was bought the same day I got the cupcakes. We had fun surveying for the ring.. hehe.. I was THIS close to getting something with gemstones, but last minute tak jadi. LOLs.. kalau nak "batu" I'm going for diamonds.. :P
This one is a surprise. That certain someone has been busy lately.. He mentioned that he was getting me something else, not this. It was definitely a lovely, lovely surprise to get this huge bouquet delivered to the office!
A friend who knew him much longer than I have was quite surprised when she found out that he sent me a big bouquet. She said, and I quote: "Wow. Tak sangka ye dia romantik.."
Hehe.. when I told that certain someone about the friend's reaction, he just laughed.
I carried the bouquet in my arms when I went home - all the way from my office to where I parked my car (those who know where I park will know how far I walked with this bouquet LOLs..). My apologies if I didn't stop and tegur anyone. Segan la tengah bawak bunga. I refused to look at anyone the whole way just now. Adeh, silap2 kena label sombong pulak..

Here's to a year filled with much love, lots of beautiful relationships, and many wonderful, amazing things!
Muahhhs!

Haih.. I've had my hands full with things, I didn't even realise that it has been more than a month since I posted anything!
Of course, a lot of things can happen within a month, and boy, a lot of things certainly did!
I'm terribly missing that certain someone. Nowadays I don't see him as often as I used to (compared to a month ago). Certainly not as much as we both wish we could. We both have been busy with own commitments, I can say that much. Currently he is super busy with a whole lot of watchamacallits and I'm missing our daily dinner already... *sigh* (cepat2 lah settle yer?)
Another colleague tendered a 24-hours' notice, immediately after the bonus has been paid out. Hehe.. definitely a surprise, that one. She told me just before I went on my leave-cum-extra long weekend. In the first few seconds I thought she was just kidding around, but apparently she was dead serious. The last I heard from her, she told me that she's super-duper busy at the new place, but her new head is wayyyyy better than our current head.
Which made me discovered something.. Since my current head came to his position in 2005, there have been a total of 6 resignations in this Dept. SIX bloody resignations! And our dept is a small one, requiring a team of around 4-7 staff only.
OK OK I know the pay here sucks (and especially more so if you weren't hired from another company *rolls eyes* when are they going to realise that sometimes hiring external people is NOT the best move?)... but if I were the HR here, I'll be wondering wtf is wrong with this fella? Keeps losing staff? Big question mark there, don't you think?
At the home-front.. we had a kenduri a couple weeks ago (on the Thursday during the CNY long weekend), and a BBQ later that night. As always, I made baked macaroni - 3 trays to be exact ehehhe.. 2 trays for the "makan-makan" and since I saw there was a lot of unused pasta / tuna / cheese / milk, I decided to bake another tray during the weekend. And so I brought 10 containers to work and distributed to some friends here at work.
But I discovered that 10 containers were still not enough!
Ramai yang tak dapat rasa. I feel a bit guilty la.. I know those very close to me I will give priority for this. Which made me realise that I am quite on good terms with a number of people!
And they didn't get any..!
Hiihihih.. sorry yer. Will try to bring more next time (bila agaknya tuh? hmm..)
* * *
Hmm, I need to get myself some CDs. Dah penat dengar CD yang ada dalam kereta sekarang nih hehe.. I can think of a couple that I think worth buying - Anuar Zain. And Nelly Furtado. What else eh? Suggestions are most welcomed! :D
* * *
Need to go on leave soon. Baru ambik 3 hari je nih. And my mandatory leave looks like it's nowhere near comfirm.
Hmm... what's my Plan B nih? Think think think!
* * *
It's already Friday! Bestnya esok tak payah keluar rumah awal-awal pagi. Boleh lepak2 atas katil, and I've got 3 books from MPH recently yeayy! Tak sabar nak baca hehe..
Enjoy your weekend darlings.. Stay safe ya :))

I've been working late for the past few days, leaving the office around 8pm++ (dah gelap OK masa jalan ke parking lot. Bahaya ni. Must consider moving my car to a nearer spot when I work late). Which means I did not meet up with that certain someone for dinner for the past few days.
Hmm..
I didn't realise this before, probably due to the reason we would almost always have our daily dinner without fail. But not seeing him across the dinner table for a few nights in a row made me realise that I have grown closer to that certain someone in these recent months.
:)
Only time will tell..

Lapar lah.
Jom lunch.
Hehehe..

It's been seven hours and 15 days..
..since you took your love away..
Eceh, cam sedih benar la pulak..
Takde lah. Tu lirik lagu Sinead O'Connor - Nothing Compares To You.
Suddenly I'm remembering those lyrics when I looked at today's date. Hehhehe..
* * *
I was quite the busy-bee last weekend. On Saturday, I was at KL Sentral.. fetched Cik Udin who came to KL for a 1-night stopover before continuing home to Singapore.
Hmm, I've been driving my Neo for about a month now, and I've always thought that it's a big-enough car for two persons, or even four. But when Cik Udin was sitting at the passenger seat next to me, I realised that maybe, just maybe, my Neo is small..! Hhahaha! I think it's because I've almost always travelled alone in the Neo (alah, cuma pergi kerja and balik je.. hiihih), and rasanya cuma Mak Abah je pernah jadik passenger in that car. Hehe.. and Cik Udin is a rugby player. So, you go figure it out lah ;P
We (Mak, Abah, Kai, Cik Udin & myself) then had a very nice lunch at Cozy Corner at Ampang Park. Rice with some dishes: lady's fingers with belacan, prawn with buttermilk, crispy fried squid, mixed vege and chicken with dried chilli and cashew nuts (kong po style).
YUMMYYY!
That night Mak cooked dinner, as usual I'm just helping out hehe..
We had ikan parang masak asam pedas, begedil (home-made, ok!), fried tempe (marinated with garlic) and sayur sawi (eh, what's 'sawi' in English? *blur*). Another round of lovely home-cooked meal..
I was dead tired by end of Saturday. Luckily Kai was around to help entertain Cik Udin hehe. I think they both went to the Danau Kota 'uptown' bazaar, but didn't buy anything. Most probably they went to have 'teh tarik' with Kai's friends and chit-chatted until wee hours of the morning.
On Sunday had to come into the office for a few hours. When I left the house at 9am the house was still quiet. Hehe.. yeah yeah, who works on Sunday morning eh? But I was actually quite surprise to see the parking lot in front of the office to be quite full. Apparently Level 3 was bustling with activities as some staff had to move from another building, back to the Centre.
(Oh, that reminds me.. a dear friend is back here in the building from a few years' stint away from this place. Hehe.. welcome backkk! Hugs!)
Around 1pm I met up with that certain someone for a quick lunch. Nice tomyam place we went to.. we had rice with dishes: pandan chicken, tomyam, and telur dadar (plain egg omelette .. eh betul ke spelling?). The starfruit juice (he had) and orange juice (mine) was nice! Tapi slack sikit coz banyak ais. Next time must remember to order less ice..
Believe it or not, after the quick lunch with that certain someone, I headed to Victoria Station for high-tea with the family and Cik Udin!
Kakakaka... my stomach must have been a bottomless pit that day! Boleh pulak masuk steak petang tu.. Luckily I ordered Fillet Steak which I think should be re-named to 'Minute Steak' for its "cute" size :P
After a delicious round of steak *yums*, we got on the Waja, and Kai and I sent Cik Udin to KLIA for flight home to Singapore, while Mak Abah drove my Neo home (hehe, bergaya OK my parents with the Neo!). Cik Udin's flight was at 7.30pm, so we waited a while for him to check in and all, and ultimately left KLIA at around 7pm.
* * *
Having Cik Udin around for that weekend made me realised that the last time I went to Singapore was about 6 months ago! I didn't even manage to visit them during Aidil Fitri *sigh..* Which means.. I SO need to plan a visit to Singapore. And SOON!
Oh yeah.. I think Air Asia have started flying its Singapore route.. right..?
Gotta check that one out. Maybe I can get a good deal for a return flight hehe..
Let's see.. am I free on the 1st February weekend? :))

7 days gone by..
Suddenly it's Monday again, how time flies when you're having fun.. :))
I was in Seremban on Saturday / early Sunday morning. On Saturday left for Seremban to fetch Sheils, and attended Ija's brother's wedding reception in Paroi. It was a lovely, lovely do. Ija's brother was rather dashing in his 'baju songket' and his bride was lovely as well. I pray that your marriage will be one filled with love and plenty of understanding and tolerance. :)
And Sheils said she couldn't help but to very much remember Ija's own wedding. I still can't believe that was 5 years ago!! Rasa macam baru sangat!
Ija's daughter, Marsya, was sooo adorable. Sheils and I could actually tell the exact moment Marsya saw and recognised both of us. Her face actually turned 'malu-malu' and she grinned shyly at us. Comelnyaaa!
Since it was Marsya's 3rd birthday last week on 3rd January, I brought along a small gift for her, and gave it to Ija... Marsya, happy birthday darling. Plenty of love and hugs and kisses from Ti Yam :))
Sheils and I met with Zuec and Lily and their parents - we had just arrived and were walking towards the 'khemah kenduri' and they were already making their ways to their car. I miss Zuec and Lily.. Sorry Zuec for not inviting you to join the New Year outing. Trust me dearest, if we had known better, we would've stayed at home / at Mas's place and just hang out watching TV / DVD. Hehe.. But Daddy was funny when he said "Zue dah disqualified" hihiihih.. Muahhs!
* * *
Saturday night we actually managed to catch a movie. Sheils and her sister Aini and myself watched "I Am Legend" starring Will Smith. Okayyy.. so there were a few scenes where I had to cover my mouth for fear of screaming out loud - I was expecting some scary / horror / terkejut scenes. Memang betul pun!
But what I didn't expect was that I would be crying my eyes out. Sedih OK. In some scenes I could feel Will Smith's character's pain. Kesian sangat.
I don't know if there are any similar movies to "I Am Legend", but I think in this movie Will Smith's acting is awesome. Hats off to you sir..! (plus, there's that scene with his superb abs.. *sigh* he's yummy.. hihiih)
* * *
Left Seremban quite early on Sunday morning (hey, 8.45am on a Sunday IS early, ok? :P) 'cause Mak Abah needed to use the Neo to run some errands. Basically spend Sunday on my bed mostly. Maksudnya tengah malas lah tu. Hehehe..
Oh, oh.. I did manage to catch some early dinner / late tea-time meal with that certain someone.. hehe.. Apparently my plans to catch up with work at the office went down the drains. LOLs..!
* * *
Yes. I'm addicted to Facebook.
I MUST fight - Slayer / Werewolf / Vampire / Zombie. I MUST feed my (fluff)Friend and pet him and other (fluff)Friends' pets.
I've taken a breather from doing trivia on F.R.I.E.N.D.S / House / Heroes / never-ending movie quiz.
I'm still hooked on 'Growing Gifts' and 'Hatching Eggs' and God-knows-what-else.
Aini voted me for this Superlatives "Most Likely To Be Online Right Now". (haipp Aini!)
Arghhh!!
Please take away my laptop. PLEASE!
No don't take away my laptop.. please?
Hish, I've got it BAD!

Looking forward to this mid-week break from work. Am in the middle of planning for a gathering with the schoolgirls, this Thursday (belum confirm lagi either dinner or just a drink in the afternoon). Tapi harini tiba-tiba senyap pulak inbox-ku. Tak jadi ke? Nanti end up, yg berjumpa cuma aku, Ta, Along, and Ijed. Kalau dah 4 orang ni je, ikut saja ke mana kaki melangkah!
Hehe..
* * *
Have a great week ahead, people.
Hugs!

Happy happy 2008 :D
So how was your New Year's celebration?
* * *
Sheils, Darling and I was at Cineleisure on New Year's eve - we were going to catch a movie at 11pm. It was a mixture of "big mistake" and "omg best nya..!" hehe..
"omg best nya..!"
OK, I love this movie. We watched National Treasure 2: The Book of Secrets. Love Nicholas Cage to pieces. Actually I love Jon Voight too. Hhahaha!
I fell in love with the first National Treasure. I think the movie came about while Dan Brown's books "The Da Vinci Code" and "Angels and Demons" were still selling like hot cakes. Solving riddles / puzzles, finding clues at different parts of the world, locating maps, discovering secrets and treasures.. coupled with good acting and nicely done scripts.. wallaa!
My kind of movie hehe...
"big mistake"
1. Way too many cars and people
2. 80% of the crowd at Cineleisure is made of teenagers and early 20s. Most of the girls are dressed to the nines. And in very sexy clothes, I tell ya. Seriously, are parents aware of their daughters' dressings? Hmm..
3. Movie finished at 1am. Started the car and made a move at 1.30am. Stuck in Cineleisure parking for one-and-a-half hours. We got on to the road at 3am. Adeih. Sib baik my Neo's an auto..
*sigh*
It's a lesson for the 3 of us. No more this kind of 'adventures' please.
If anyone dared to suggest a New Year's eve outing at these kinds of places, please oh please remind me of this "big mistake"..!!
LOLs..
Next year's New Year's eve will be spend having gathering / BBQ at home! Girls, we MUST bring back our New Year's eve gathering! We missed it for 2 years already..
* * *
I know more than a few friends are curious about this certain someone.
But currently I'm just not telling. Well, not just yet, ok?
One thing's for sure, I am happy.
Sheils mentioned it to me earlier today. Actually she observed it sometime last week too. Hehe.. Sheils, it IS also because of the Neo, ok?
* * *
Oh oh. I'm having a "Day out with The Girls" sometime at the end of this month! Tak sabar sangat. So far we've managed to agree on the date, but have yet to discuss on the exact itenary / plans for the day. Or even the venue, for that matter.
Hopefully will get some plans laid out sometime next week onwards, ok?
* * *
I love you all.
Have a great year ahead :))
