More than words..

Someone said recently: "Dia boleh cakap 'I love you' and 'I sayang you' all he wants, tapi the thing is, kalau dia tak buktikan, itu bukan cinta kasih sayang namanya."

To which someone asked: "Buktikan camner?"

He replied: "Ajak kahwin. Spend the rest of their lives together, susah ke senang ke, tak kisah lah. Kalau setakat cakap mulut je, no action taken, takde gunanya. It means nothing. Probably he does sayang the girl lah, tapi, I guess it wasn't enough to ask her to be his wife."

Well, we all laughed when he said that. But, afterwards, I noticed some people in the group turned pensive. Probably reflecting about what this guy just said. My thoughts were: OK.. his words nampaknya hit some nerves tonight.
And if I were honest my nerves included lah. (Erm, so maybe that night I wasn't as honest as I am now)

He's probably right. What do you think?
