I've been working late for the past few days, leaving the office around 8pm++ (dah gelap OK masa jalan ke parking lot. Bahaya ni. Must consider moving my car to a nearer spot when I work late). Which means I did not meet up with that certain someone for dinner for the past few days.

Hmm..
I didn't realise this before, probably due to the reason we would almost always have our daily dinner without fail. But not seeing him across the dinner table for a few nights in a row made me realise that I have grown closer to that certain someone in these recent months.

:)

Only time will tell..

Lapar lah.
Jom lunch.

Hehehe..

It's been seven hours and 15 days..

..since you took your love away..

Eceh, cam sedih benar la pulak..

Takde lah. Tu lirik lagu Sinead O'Connor - Nothing Compares To You.
Suddenly I'm remembering those lyrics when I looked at today's date. Hehhehe..

* * *

I was quite the busy-bee last weekend. On Saturday, I was at KL Sentral.. fetched Cik Udin who came to KL for a 1-night stopover before continuing home to Singapore.
Hmm, I've been driving my Neo for about a month now, and I've always thought that it's a big-enough car for two persons, or even four. But when Cik Udin was sitting at the passenger seat next to me, I realised that maybe, just maybe, my Neo is small..! Hhahaha! I think it's because I've almost always travelled alone in the Neo (alah, cuma pergi kerja and balik je.. hiihih), and rasanya cuma Mak Abah je pernah jadik passenger in that car. Hehe.. and Cik Udin is a rugby player. So, you go figure it out lah ;P

We (Mak, Abah, Kai, Cik Udin & myself) then had a very nice lunch at Cozy Corner at Ampang Park. Rice with some dishes: lady's fingers with belacan, prawn with buttermilk, crispy fried squid, mixed vege and chicken with dried chilli and cashew nuts (kong po style).
YUMMYYY!

That night Mak cooked dinner, as usual I'm just helping out hehe..
We had ikan parang masak asam pedas, begedil (home-made, ok!), fried tempe (marinated with garlic) and sayur sawi (eh, what's 'sawi' in English? *blur*). Another round of lovely home-cooked meal..

I was dead tired by end of Saturday. Luckily Kai was around to help entertain Cik Udin hehe. I think they both went to the Danau Kota 'uptown' bazaar, but didn't buy anything. Most probably they went to have 'teh tarik' with Kai's friends and chit-chatted until wee hours of the morning.

On Sunday had to come into the office for a few hours. When I left the house at 9am the house was still quiet. Hehe.. yeah yeah, who works on Sunday morning eh? But I was actually quite surprise to see the parking lot in front of the office to be quite full. Apparently Level 3 was bustling with activities as some staff had to move from another building, back to the Centre.

(Oh, that reminds me.. a dear friend is back here in the building from a few years' stint away from this place. Hehe.. welcome backkk! Hugs!)

Around 1pm I met up with that certain someone for a quick lunch. Nice tomyam place we went to.. we had rice with dishes: pandan chicken, tomyam, and telur dadar (plain egg omelette .. eh betul ke spelling?). The starfruit juice (he had) and orange juice (mine) was nice! Tapi slack sikit coz banyak ais. Next time must remember to order less ice..

Believe it or not, after the quick lunch with that certain someone, I headed to Victoria Station for high-tea with the family and Cik Udin!

Kakakaka... my stomach must have been a bottomless pit that day! Boleh pulak masuk steak petang tu.. Luckily I ordered Fillet Steak which I think should be re-named to 'Minute Steak' for its "cute" size :P

After a delicious round of steak *yums*, we got on the Waja, and Kai and I sent Cik Udin to KLIA for flight home to Singapore, while Mak Abah drove my Neo home (hehe, bergaya OK my parents with the Neo!). Cik Udin's flight was at 7.30pm, so we waited a while for him to check in and all, and ultimately left KLIA at around 7pm.

* * *

Having Cik Udin around for that weekend made me realised that the last time I went to Singapore was about 6 months ago! I didn't even manage to visit them during Aidil Fitri *sigh..* Which means.. I SO need to plan a visit to Singapore. And SOON!

Oh yeah.. I think Air Asia have started flying its Singapore route.. right..?
Gotta check that one out. Maybe I can get a good deal for a return flight hehe..

Let's see.. am I free on the 1st February weekend? :))

7 days gone by..

Suddenly it's Monday again, how time flies when you're having fun.. :))

I was in Seremban on Saturday / early Sunday morning. On Saturday left for Seremban to fetch Sheils, and attended Ija's brother's wedding reception in Paroi. It was a lovely, lovely do. Ija's brother was rather dashing in his 'baju songket' and his bride was lovely as well. I pray that your marriage will be one filled with love and plenty of understanding and tolerance. :)

And Sheils said she couldn't help but to very much remember Ija's own wedding. I still can't believe that was 5 years ago!! Rasa macam baru sangat!

Ija's daughter, Marsya, was sooo adorable. Sheils and I could actually tell the exact moment Marsya saw and recognised both of us. Her face actually turned 'malu-malu' and she grinned shyly at us. Comelnyaaa!
Since it was Marsya's 3rd birthday last week on 3rd January, I brought along a small gift for her, and gave it to Ija... Marsya, happy birthday darling. Plenty of love and hugs and kisses from Ti Yam :))

Sheils and I met with Zuec and Lily and their parents - we had just arrived and were walking towards the 'khemah kenduri' and they were already making their ways to their car. I miss Zuec and Lily.. Sorry Zuec for not inviting you to join the New Year outing. Trust me dearest, if we had known better, we would've stayed at home / at Mas's place and just hang out watching TV / DVD. Hehe.. But Daddy was funny when he said "Zue dah disqualified" hihiihih.. Muahhs!

* * *

Saturday night we actually managed to catch a movie. Sheils and her sister Aini and myself watched "I Am Legend" starring Will Smith. Okayyy.. so there were a few scenes where I had to cover my mouth for fear of screaming out loud - I was expecting some scary / horror / terkejut scenes. Memang betul pun!
But what I didn't expect was that I would be crying my eyes out. Sedih OK. In some scenes I could feel Will Smith's character's pain. Kesian sangat.

I don't know if there are any similar movies to "I Am Legend", but I think in this movie Will Smith's acting is awesome. Hats off to you sir..! (plus, there's that scene with his superb abs.. *sigh* he's yummy.. hihiih)

* * *

Left Seremban quite early on Sunday morning (hey, 8.45am on a Sunday IS early, ok? :P) 'cause Mak Abah needed to use the Neo to run some errands. Basically spend Sunday on my bed mostly. Maksudnya tengah malas lah tu. Hehehe..

Oh, oh.. I did manage to catch some early dinner / late tea-time meal with that certain someone.. hehe.. Apparently my plans to catch up with work at the office went down the drains. LOLs..!

Yes. I'm addicted to Facebook.
I MUST fight - Slayer / Werewolf / Vampire / Zombie. I MUST feed my (fluff)Friend and pet him and other (fluff)Friends' pets.
I've taken a breather from doing trivia on F.R.I.E.N.D.S / House / Heroes / never-ending movie quiz.
I'm still hooked on 'Growing Gifts' and 'Hatching Eggs' and God-knows-what-else.
Aini voted me for this Superlatives "Most Likely To Be Online Right Now". (haipp Aini!)

Arghhh!!
Please take away my laptop. PLEASE!
No don't take away my laptop.. please?

Hish, I've got it BAD!

Looking forward to this mid-week break from work. Am in the middle of planning for a gathering with the schoolgirls, this Thursday (belum confirm lagi either dinner or just a drink in the afternoon). Tapi harini tiba-tiba senyap pulak inbox-ku. Tak jadi ke? Nanti end up, yg berjumpa cuma aku, Ta, Along, and Ijed. Kalau dah 4 orang ni je, ikut saja ke mana kaki melangkah!
Hehe..

Have a great week ahead, people.
Hugs!

Happy happy 2008 :D

So how was your New Year's celebration?

* * *

Sheils, Darling and I was at Cineleisure on New Year's eve - we were going to catch a movie at 11pm. It was a mixture of "big mistake" and "omg best nya..!" hehe..

"omg best nya..!"
OK, I love this movie. We watched National Treasure 2: The Book of Secrets. Love Nicholas Cage to pieces. Actually I love Jon Voight too. Hhahaha!
I fell in love with the first National Treasure. I think the movie came about while Dan Brown's books "The Da Vinci Code" and "Angels and Demons" were still selling like hot cakes. Solving riddles / puzzles, finding clues at different parts of the world, locating maps, discovering secrets and treasures.. coupled with good acting and nicely done scripts.. wallaa!
My kind of movie hehe...

"big mistake"
1. Way too many cars and people
2. 80% of the crowd at Cineleisure is made of teenagers and early 20s. Most of the girls are dressed to the nines. And in very sexy clothes, I tell ya. Seriously, are parents aware of their daughters' dressings? Hmm..
3. Movie finished at 1am. Started the car and made a move at 1.30am. Stuck in Cineleisure parking for one-and-a-half hours. We got on to the road at 3am. Adeih. Sib baik my Neo's an auto..

*sigh*
It's a lesson for the 3 of us. No more this kind of 'adventures' please.

If anyone dared to suggest a New Year's eve outing at these kinds of places, please oh please remind me of this "big mistake"..!!
LOLs..

Next year's New Year's eve will be spend having gathering / BBQ at home! Girls, we MUST bring back our New Year's eve gathering! We missed it for 2 years already..

* * *

I know more than a few friends are curious about this certain someone.
But currently I'm just not telling. Well, not just yet, ok?

One thing's for sure, I am happy.
Sheils mentioned it to me earlier today. Actually she observed it sometime last week too. Hehe.. Sheils, it IS also because of the Neo, ok?

* * *

Oh oh. I'm having a "Day out with The Girls" sometime at the end of this month! Tak sabar sangat. So far we've managed to agree on the date, but have yet to discuss on the exact itenary / plans for the day. Or even the venue, for that matter.

Hopefully will get some plans laid out sometime next week onwards, ok?

* * *

I love you all.
Have a great year ahead :))
